I’ve been mentioning an upcoming game to keep an eye out for named Armillo. The game can appeal to various types of gamers – puzzle gamers, action/adventure gamers, platforming gamers, and those who may simply enjoy game music. What sets this indie game apart from so many on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U? It’s a 3D platformer with 2D elements sprinkled throughout. Most games you find on the eShop in the Indie Section are 2D games, which is, by no means, a terrible thing. However, some of us want to explore more 3D worlds, rather than running along in side-scrolling landscapes. If you have been looking for a game to scratch that 3D Platformer itch, Armillo is the game for you! Below is a video showing off some gameplay in correlation with the music within the game. Have a look!
This footage is old, so expect the game to be even more polished and up-to-date
Excited yet? The game looks to be excellent, and even the website Dromble had something to say about the game. Keep checking back for a mini series I plan on doing, with exclusive interviews with some of the awesome people at Fuzzy Wuzzy Games. Armillo is set to release on May 15, 2014.
