According to a NeoGAF user, Nintendo had a solid February in terms of sales. The 3DS family (N3DS XL, 3DS XL, 3DS) sold incredibly well, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D was the top selling software for the month. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate also managed to make the top 10 for the month, as well. The Wii U is estimated around 94,000 units sold; Nintendo stated that sales have been up 20% so far this year.
Though the Wii U brought up the rear against the other home consoles, having moved that many units is still quite impressive considering the only bigger exclusive title that was released in February was Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. In addition, Nintendo believes the coming months will continue the “momentum,” with recently released titles like Codename S.T.E.A.M., and upcoming ones like Xenoblade Chronicles, Mario Party 10, and Splatoon.
